Michael Kraemer, MD

Dr. Kraemer was born in Richland, Washington and was educated at Washington State University, and at the University Of Washington School Of Medicine. He completed his Pediatrics Residency and is Allergy Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He is now Board Certified in Pediatrics, and Allergy. He started the Spokane Allergy and Asthma Clinic in 1982. In this group of four physicians, and one nurse practitioner, he is the senior practicing allergist. He is open to see both pediatric and adult patients. He has special interests in food allergy, and anaphylaxis. He is currently very involved with developing the Electronic Medical Record that will be utilized in the clinic. His leisure time is spent with his wife Nancy, restoring their South Hill home, and gardening.

Steven Kernerman, DO

Dr. Kernerman is board certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Kernerman is licensed to practice medicine in Washington, and received his medical degree from Des Moines University in 1986. After completing his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 1990, Dr. Kernerman then completed his fellowship in pediatric and adult allergy and immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He joined the Spokane Allergy and Asthma Clinic in July, 1992. Dr. Kernerman is a member of both the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Kernerman and his wife Sandra have two grown children. Dr. Kernerman enjoys outdoor activities including running and hiking, and enjoys reading and cooking.

Kerry Drain, MD

Dr. Drain is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She is also Board Certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She is proud to be born and raised in the great state of Montana. She graduated from Montana State University with Highest Honors. From there she attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. She decided to do residencies in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She found she really liked working with children and adults so pursuing a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology seemed a great way to see patients of all ages with fascinating medical problems. She herself is peanut allergic so knows how important it is to have good allergy care available. She completed her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She has been at Spokane Allergy and Asthma Clinic for almost a decade. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. She loves being in the Spokane area with her family.

Ronald England, MD

Dr. England is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. England is licensed to practice medicine in Washington State. He received (BA) degree from Brigham Young University followed by his medical degree from the Uniformed Service University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Keesler Air Force Base, he went to San Antonio, Texas for a fellowship in Allergy/ Immunology. He was then selected for a one year fellowship in Clinical Laboratory Immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After completing these fellowships, he was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Northern, California for three years. Dr. England was honored to return to be staff at the Air Force’s only Allergy/ Immunology fellowship teaching program for the last four years of his military service. During his last year in the military, he served as the Chief of Allergy/ Immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Dr. England joined Spokane Allergy and Asthma in July of 2010. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr. England, his wife Cindy, and his 3 children are excited to be in Spokane, Washington.

Cinda Reed, ARNP

Cinda is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing through Eastern Washington University at the Intercollegiate College for Nursing. In 1996 she joined the Spokane Allergy & Asthma Clinic as a Clinical Research Nurse while receiving her Master’s Degree as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner through Washington State University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an associate member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She has worked as a nurse practitioner for the Spokane Allergy & Asthma Clinic since 2000. Cinda, along with her husband Rob, have three grown children and three grandchildren. She is a Spokane native and returned back to the Pacific Northwest in 1987 after living in California. She enjoys sailing, cooking and traveling.
